Muhammad, the Messenger of God, and the imams killed anyone who was a preacher of a religion other than Islam!
Also, kiling a captive is an honor in Islam. In Khandaq war, Mohammad  ordered the execution of children over 12 years old.

Again, this sort of behaviour doesn’t seem to be exclusive to Islam.
