In the Quran the arabic word can literally mean "Life Artery", in the Hadiths its mainly the aorta.
In the Quran its "Severed, cut off" but in the hadith its interruption. (or was it vice versa there?)
Anyways, i have heard some apologetics mention this. But considering H2O is water, then it is the same substance.
But let me know what you think?
Here is the sources:
Quran 69:44-46
Had the Messenger made up something in Our Name,
We would have certainly seized him by his right hand,
then severed his aorta,
Narrated `Aisha:
The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison."
Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 4428
(Now. To mention one more thing. Allah in Islam sends people to do his bidding. Just incase some would say God himself has to do it. Because i read Ibn Kathir Tafsir, and as a refutation to people who says why cant Allah send angels to do it? The refutation is Allah sends people and has always sent messengers throughout history.)
In either case, Jewish woman is who poisoned muhammad if you want the context here.
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet (ﷺ) who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?" He said, "No." I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) .
Sahih al-Bukhari 2617
I did not understand what is your question or opinion?
Is the question about the Prophet's aort?
Or is the question about the case of poisoning?
This is historiography in Islamic texts.
The Prophet enslaves Jewish women. One of those Jewish women says to the rest of the slaves:
If Muhammad is really the prophet of God, he will be different from other people, and if we give him poisoned food, he will not be poisoned and will not suffer any harm.
So, one bite that Muhammad eats, he notices poisoning from the taste of the food and does not eat pot. And he asks the slave why did you do that? The woman tells the story.
At the time of his death, Muhammad announced that he was dying from the poisoning of that Jewish food. And the test of that woman proves that Muhammad was not a prophet.
