The passage from Malachi about smearing dung on faces is an expression meaning ‘disgraced’, in much the same sense that referring to a drunk person as ‘shitfaced’ doesn’t require actual shit on an actual face.
It helpful to read entire chapters, not just verses.

Though wife switching exists. But i guess there is some concern on stabbing one in the back which is a mental concern for people who live together with more than one, which is one of the problems with people who are pro polygami atleast interms of just going for it.
