I am confused by a family member who is trying to have a full hysterectomy due to the dysmorphia their monthly cycle causes them. What confuses me is that the uterus, etc. was important a year and a half ago for getting pregnant and delivering a baby. I'm just puzzled. They can do what they think they need to do.
It may be that though I was a bit of a tomboy when I was young, I didn't want to be a boy which is why I don't understand the need to be seen as a different gender. I realize that the term tomboy is probably out of date but it's what was used for those of us who weren't girly girls back in the day.
My apologies if I have used the wrong terms. I don't understand all of it...but I also don't need to.

I'm your huckleberry.
