Voting for better/more progressive Democrats in primaries and, if they lose to a shitty corporatist moderate Dem, voting for a third-party candidate in the general election. If the third-party candidates are horrible then I guess all that's left is to vote for the shitty Democrat. But to me that's a last resort.

Third parties never (hardly) win; no one gives a shit about them.  Don't throw your vote away.

I'd argue voting for the Democrat just for them to do nothing until the next election cycle when they need your vote... is throwing your vote away. Don't worry, they'll codify abortion this time! They promised, right?

Dems need to lose until they get the hint. I thought they'd get it in 2016. I was very wrong.
