In that one particular example, the dynamic on the forum had been atheists vs. Christians.
I suppose if there had been Muslims or Mormons the thing would have gone about the same.
The point is just that when there is full agreement, people don't seem to have a lot to talk about.
Tell me why Christians seek out and join an atheist forum?
We often see conversion attempts and apologetics. Some claim to want to learn only to reveal that their real reason is conversion and apologetics.
If you are a car guy, do you go looking for a knitting forum?
I suppose you could be a knitting gear head because there is not conflict there, but you really can't be theist and atheist at the same time.
