Men should be getting many more vasectomies than they do. It is reversible!  Why not pay dudes to be unable tp procreate from 18- 25?

Are there medical conditions that prevent reversal? (serious question)

Vasectomies should NOT be regarded as reversible.

While it *is* possible, it is far from guaranteed and it is a MUCH more delicate and expensive procedure. Also, the amount of time since the original vasectomy can be relevant. Don't expect a lot of success after 10-15 years.

That said, if a *reliable* way was to be found to perform vasectomies that allowed reliable reversal, then giving ALL male children vasectomies at birth to be reversed upon request would be perfectly acceptable to me.

I do not think it could be done at birth. At puberty yes. It would seem that certain level of sexual development would seem to be necessary.
