The reason that people believe is that they are unable to cope with nihilism, in particular, the idea of death being a state of irrecoverable annihilation. Such is a bridge that many are unable or unwilling to cross. Plus, for many, faith is also an aphrodisiac, and also helps manage and mitigate stress in young children, which aides in allowing even more sex.

How do you know why I or anybody else believes? Speak for yourself.
