You can be an agnostic atheist (don't know, don't believe) or an agnostic theist (don't know, believe anyway). Most agnostic atheists, IMHO, are just acknowedging that they can't prove no god exists. Neither agnostic atheists nor agnostic theists assume the burdern of proof.
The god of deism is no married bachelor, for instance, the only thing it has going against it is there's no good reason to think it's real.
You can be certain a particular god doesn't exist and still be an agnostic atheist. I think the Abrahamic God as described in scritpures IS a married bachelor, it's supposed to have done things that didn't actually happen and I think has contradictory attributes, like any tri-omni version of God. I'm a 'gnostic atheist' towards that particular version of God.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
