What does that have to do with anything? We are talking about nutritional science here, not medical science. And you don't need a PhD to understand that taking heme iron to prevent anemia is not a good idea.
If it's not a good idea, why do so many people WITH medical degrees prescribe it (either taking heme supplements or including some heme-rich foods in a diet)?
Also, have you looked up the requirements for a 4-year degree in nutritional science? Course work includes things like biochemistry, organic chemistry, physics, genetics, and molecular biology.
