Might be referring to your 50% survival rate which is woefully inaccurate. It's also the most preventable and early detectable cancer. Maybe it was a sarcastic refrence to how you are wrong about that "50%" of yours?
Well, this source claims that, in Croatia, the odds of 5-year survival of colon cancer are 51.5%, and that, in the developed countries, they are around 65%. So I was not very wrong.
