Yes, women have been molested by people with penises in restrooms and locker rooms. If you want women to suck it up, then why can't trans women do the same thing and use male locker rooms if that is their biological sex? I don't think you care anything about most women. By the way, those molesters were claiming to be trans women.

I’m sure that some people with penises have molested women in restrooms and locker rooms. That said, the vast majority of the cases I’ve heard of (specifically including many cases shoehorned into your narrative), they don’t actually claim to be any sort of unusual gender identity (at least not until the story gets noticed by some right-wing rag.) I can count the exceptions on my hands, and even then, the majority of those exceptions had prior convictions.

One thing I’ve heard of more than any verified case of trans women going into women’s spaces and molesting them? Men who aren’t even trying to present as female or claiming to be trans just barging into women’s restrooms and molesting them. Here’s a story by a blogger I followed relating several examples of men doing just that that were no more than one degree of separation from her.

And do you know what happens when trans women are forced to go to a restroom that corresponds with their birth sex? Just guess, just fucking guess. They get sexually assaulted. At a rate slightly higher than 1 in 4.

This is why I don’t buy into the premise that you’re just trying to help women feel safe. Because if you had your way, an entire class of women would be forced into a situation where they have a 1 in 4 chance of getting sexually assaulted.
