Cruelty is the point:

A woman in rural Oklahoma developed a nonviable, molar pregnancy that became cancerous. She went to the hospital for an emergency D&C, and they told her she had to wait in the parking lot until her condition became worse before they could treat her.

My wife may be right: I might very well have a heart attack from my anger at all this absolute bullshit being inflicted upon women. Lucky for me I won’t have to wait in the parking lot to get treated.
