And you can pray away your sins. The Etch-a-Sketch method of having a clean slate. Say five Hail Marys, an Our Father, and The Act of Contrition. See ya next week.
Most people get hung up on the do's and don't of sin. while they are a major component of sin, the whole point of sin itself is to provide Choice. If sin is anything outside the expressed will of God then that essentially makes sin the choice to be, or rather stay outside of the will of God. Which makes you a servant to sin and satan.
That's why All sin is the same to God or rather meets the same end. as it all boils down to, do you choose to serve God and righteousness? or Sin and satan?
No not a catholic. I've been to many different churches/denominations currently my wife and I are members of a local baptist church even though my Christian views are not define by baptist doctrine. they do good work in our little rual community and I want to support them any way I can.
I say all sins are the same because all sins meet the same fate which The Apostle Paul says is death. Meaning destruction in Hell. Biblically speaking, there is only one way to atone for this sin and that is through accepting Christ.
all due respect to any catholic here, I'm just pointing out the differences between what the Bible says and what their religious beliefs are. Most religions differ between what the Bible says and their core doctrine. these differences don't make them any less christian though.
