Now, granted, me being an atheist doesn't tell me how I should talk...but then..it doesn't tell me how I should do anything, so...? If, however, it's your religion that's been teaching you all that...then it seems like you'll be the ones that are going to have to give some account, on some day of judgement. In addition to christians endless creativity at coming up with foul language..I've never heard anything so perverse and foul as christianity itself...and I'm a bit of a connoisseur. It's good that you also believe that you need to have some answer for why you believe what you do..because..I suspect, if there were a judging god, you're going to need it.
One of my favorites I save for special occasions is "Jesus H. Fucking Christ".
I know who said it the first time I heard it, I think I only knew "Jesus H. Christ" before that.
I like the small addition.
It's amazing that he thinks a life-long relationship with his god can so easily be severed.
The Roman Church teaches that mortal sin separates someone from the love of God.
And he thinks that can be done in a split second with two words. How childish and UN-serious mortal sin is to him.
One other thing I was thinking is : he's basically made himself a laughing-stock of triviality here.
All his threads and nonsense are not taken seriously, and every time he posts another one, he is taken even less seriously
I hope he creates tons of threads every day. He will be taken even less seriously, (if that is possible).
Familiarity breeds contempt.
Every religion is true one way or another. It is true when understood metaphorically. But when it gets stuck in its own metaphors, interpreting them as facts, then you are in trouble. - Joseph Campbell
