We kids learned to swear from dad who was a master at it.
Along with those that weren't religious in nature were these two:
Jesus H Christ
You god damned dummy * there was emphasis on each word and a slight pause in between each* (I thought my brother might grow up thinking this was his name)
Pretty sure my grandfather said something in German that roughly translated to 'Good God in Heaven'.
