I didn't know cornholing kids is wrong according to atheism. Please share with us your holy moral book of atheism, it has to be some fine masterpiece.
I also think "terrible person" is hard to parse in your worldview. Terrible... according to whom? why should anybody's opinion matter to me.. especially if it's unfounded .? The religious may judge someone to be terrible if they repeatedly go against their holy book... and you ?
All atheism is, is the position of not being convinced that gods exist. Atheism has no: holy books, leaders, doctrine, or dogma.
Atheism does not say anything about any other subject.
That is why there are other, secular frameworks for morality, like Secular Humanism as one example.
All one with a modicum of empathy has to do, to know molesting children is wrong, is to care about the well being others. And since homo sapiens are a social species, our evolution has lead most of us to care about the well being of others. No gods necessary.
If you need a book in order to know molesting children is wrong, then by all means, continue to believe your crap mythology.
Actually, I molest kids as often as I want to. And the amount I want to is zero.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
