It takes a lot of work to write any kind of defense for theism, if you don't show any respect for this work, you're going to lose a lot of people -precisely those who are willing to put up some effort into what they're writing. Disrespect is not good for business.. huh ? I never thought I would need to spell that out, but apparently some people here are too stupid to realize it by themselves.

I went through some recent threads in the "Atheism" forum, and it made me sad to see some members here congratulating each other for Nishant Xavier getting banned. I profoundly disagree with the guy's religion and most of what he wrote, but he clearly put

up an awful lot of work in his threads. I am not opposed to him getting banned because he may have broken some rules, but the attitude of many members here, including you, towards him while he was in this forum, was very inappropriate -to put it charitably. He may have not presented groundbreaking insights about christianity, but the forum definitely didn't deserve him.

On a more personal note, an entire thread of mine was deleted some hour ago in the Islam forum, which took me almost an hour to write, supposedly because I included links and thus broke the 30/30 rule. Fine, delete the links and leave the thread. Instead, the entire thread was erased.

As retaliation for this startling abuse of power, you can count me out, for good.
