Neither do many women in shithole countries with their clits removed. Honestly, it's not saying anything great about us or our society to mention that.

-as an addendum, with respect to the religious aspect - that's probably the only thing keeping it legal. No one wants to recommend it but banning it would be to step in shit. It would be PERSECUTIONS if prosperity gospel protestants couldn't mutilate their children as per the jewish gods orders to his chosen people in notheristan. It's basically their version of a fake id - which is their right.
