There are a few cases where I’d consider this a good idea, either for stuff like dementia or disorders where the afflicted is likely to harm others if action isn’t taken. The latter is rare, but it does happen. And here’s a case in point:




Also worth noting, apparently, Larson tried to ask Dignitas to help him undergo suicide (for depression, oddly enough, and not the pedophilia) but they declined. After all these attempts failed, he started up a bunch of pedo forums, the kind that actively reached out to children and asked them to provide CP for him, eventually culminating in him abducting a child.
