Than my answer to that nonsense:
 
1) There are the sayings of the prophet on this (and that is our military history as well which is said to be older than Islam): War is fought man to man soldier to soldier. Although female soldiers existed in the ranks of Turkic warriors in the past (a little like the shield-maidens among Vikings), you cannot attack unarmed people and call it “War”. No, that’s bitter cruelty / barbary or murder. In any military ethic that I know of. Even in Asymmetric Guerrilla warfare and stuff like that.
 
2) You have to be fighting for truth. And they cannot be fighting for truth since almost their entire understanding of Islam is either incorrect or completely distorted. (meaning a 100% travesty of the original religious message).
