I believe a nurse with whom I work is a MTF trans. It is simply noticeable to me, because I have been a part of this community for a long time. She told me she wears special underwear because of a surgery she recently had, which suggests to me she has fully transitioned.

I hope she doesn't catch any shit for this, if true. Pretty trusting of her to confide in you?

She knows I am gay, because I told her, which is probably why she told me. The other staff do not have an issue with her, she is best friends with the unit manager, and I am fairly certain the residents are unaware of her status.
