Yes. Sadly, the UK is known as TERF Island. Transphobia is common here, the government is openly transphobic, and the NHS is riddled with transphobic professionals who deliberately delay and hinder gender treatment.

There are worse places, of course, but a mostly secular, modern nation like Britain should be better.

Yeah, with worse places, has the situation in Britain gotten as bad as it is in parts of the US?




I mean, make no mistake, the fact that Abby had to go through a shitton of red tape just so she could transition is inexcusable, but in America, the Republican Party is doing everything it can to pass laws against trans folk so severe that the only reason I wouldn’t call it a genocide is because, well, Trans folk are more of a demos than a genos.
