I think I'm just far more open and introspective about my desires than most.  There's no obsession on a particular topic there at all, I'm just more thoughtful and introspective on most things than others.

Translation: "If people would think as deep as I do, they'd naturally agree with me."

Do you realize how condescending you sound?

To me, most of the thread reads like the protestations of people in their 30s who think monogamy is maturity but haven't grappled with their own, or many other people's, more honest and less socially palatable desires. 

I really don't give a shit who you or anyone else fucks, as long as it's all consenting adults. I'm well aware that there are large numbers of nonmonogamous humans. I know that that's not for me. I gave it the thought that it needed. I have on occasion wanted to be nonmonogamous, but didn't do so for several reasons. Your speculations about anyone else's motivations are just that: speculations.

And also it seems that many are quite vanilla in their relational constructs and lack imagination.  The difference is that I'm fully prepared to accept that is just my perception and not worth anything and so normally avoid saying such things.  It is, after all, rather rude and pointless to express such a ridiculous character assessment about people I know only from a few internet forum posts.  But YMMV.

But if it helps you to think of me as a sex obsessive go ahead.  I probably do have a greater interest in talking about and thinking about sex than most people.

Your certainly post an awful lot about the topic.

Why does it make no sense?
Like I said, I find most/all things unsatisfying + I think about things (and like talking about things) more than most.

Because despite spending all this time thinking Deep Thoughts™ on the topic, you still haven't figured out what makes sex satisfying. I'd tell you what works for me, but pearls, swine, etc etc.
