2024 2050
Total Population: 8,118,836,000 9,709,492,000.
Xtian Population: 2,508,432,000 3,201,640,000.
Is there a similar "Status of Global Atheism 2024" report I can consult to check and see how Atheism is doing? Christians and Atheists freely compete in the West, and now online across the Whole World, and yet Christianity continues to do well, though Atheist Countries like China and North Korea don't allow Christian Missionaries fair and free play in those regions of "Atheistdom", whereas Christendom allows Atheist "Missionaries" that freedom
It'll be interesting to compare the stats and see the results.
It's tricky to count accurately.
People say that the fastest growing category of religion is "none." But the people in the "none" category often do have some kind of belief that we would normally call religious. It's out of fashion in some circles to be in a traditional religion, but acceptable to say you're spiritual or something like that.
I read about a congregation on the east coast where almost nobody who attended church regularly admitted to being "religious." They all preferred to say they "had a personal relationship with God."
