Well, if he is an omnipotent righteous god then it would be very easy for him to stop any war. Then there are also his claims that people who believe in him will be able to move mountains and stop storms.

He might not be omnipotent. What would you think of Him if He couldn't stop wars from happening, but very much wanted to?
