It took me a minute to even realize that the priest was talking about saving children who were NOT BORN YET.
My immediate reaction was "You've got to be kidding, right?" Like with literally millions of children living in the world without enough food, shelter or medical care and we are worrying about FETUSES????"
Guess they just didn't manage to indoctrinate me on the anti-abortion thing early enough.
To paraphrase George Carlin, they only care about the kids before they're born. Once they're born, fuck 'em. It's a shame that so many priests and pastors took that last part so seriously.
