The human population doesn't double every 200 to 300 years. For example, the human population in the year one is estimated to be around 170 million people, and in the year 1000 CE around 255 million people. But by your claims, the human population should have been 5 billion 440 million people in the year 1000.

Not to mention that the human population doubled since the 1980s compared to today. In 1982, the population was 4,6 billion, and now it's over 8 billion.
