It's interesting your head goes straight to racist jokes, when the reality is that "HR" has been employed by a variety of individuals and occasionally small moments to engage in acts of revenge against co-workers, intimidate and harass co-workers, and allowed a social class of non-productive cretins to exploit actual suffering in minority communities for their own gain, their own grift.

But sure, the racist jokes being taken away also sucks.

HR is there precisely because people insist on being douchebags. If you really hate HR, stop arguing for the right to harass your coworkers.

Also, you still haven't defined who are the "productive" and "non-productive" "classes" (your word, not mine) in the workplace. Is there a reason for this oversight?

It's been my experience that people most willing to call out bigotry in the office are the most productive because they want to keep things professional and no time for douchebags, and the idea it's those people who are causing the strife because they upset the bigot in the office is absurd.
