Christianity screwed the pooch as far back as the middle ages, now you/they want to whine about it.

The Middle Ages - the period of time when Christianity built Western ethics, science, and scholaticism.

Honestly, some of you make me question if that was such a good idea because sweet Lord has it gone to waste and how often it has been rejected in favor of blind ideological devotion and irrational ignorance.
