They also started right off creating a totalitarian communistic society as the first Christian society. Its spoken of in acts. All members of the christian communist regime were required to hand over 100% of their wealth and property. They were also obliged to do exactly as the leader (who was Peter at the time) said under pain of death. One person tried to hold back on giving over some of his money, but God told Peter that he was being stingy and therefore deserved to be smited. Peter told the man he sinned before the lord for not surrendering everything to the communist regime and the man fell dead right then and there.
Do I think Peter was real? nope. not even a little bit. But the story exists, and someone wrote about this totalitarian communist regime as if it were the apple of Gods eye. That Christians should emulate it.
Quite disgraceful that the bible promotes totalitarian communism as the first church after Christ's death. Yet one more reason why I am no longer a Christian.
