100 men vs Gorilla

I heard them talking about this on the radio yesterday.  I wasn't totally tuned in, but the DJs were saying if you took a sampling of 100 men and then started deducting from the group due to illness, age, mobility issues, etc...you wouldn't really have 100 able-bodied men when all was said and done.

But if you started with 100 men in peak physical condition, you wouldn’t have 100 able-bodied men at the end of the fight. You’d have a dead gorilla, sure, but you also have some dead men, some permanently disabled men, some men requiring extended hospital stays, etc.

This is one of those idiotic things that keeps the internet alive. It’s not even an interesting contest.
