I respect people who understand that their faith is just faith, since each person learns at their own rate.
I am much less convinced that religious leaders who make all sorts of positive and unlikely assertions are really being honest with themselves and others.
Just like the requirement for a job in the Trump administration is to agree to the statement "Biden stole the 2020 election", a Christian leader must agree with the statement "Jesus died for our sins, rose into heaven, and will judge the living and the dead".
Most don't believe it, but all will espouse it to get the job.
