I jumped from one interest to another throughout my life. About the only constant was reading books. I think my reading made it a good life.
If I regret anything, it was taking some of it too seriously. Everything fell into a nice overall picture in the end, or at least one satisfying enough for me -- all assembled from bits and pieces.
