Well these photons seem to be insufficient to stop planets that are farthest from our sun from being lifeless and frozen, yet heated our planet sufficiently to sustain vegetation with no stars in the entire universe, while the planets in a closer orbit to that sun are also lifeless as they're too hot, but none of this has anything to do with sun...the answer is magic photons, according to John?

Oh, in all the excitement John, you forgot to explain what kept the earth in any sort of orbit, without the sun? Spoiler alert, its magic...
