Use it or lose it.

Which just goes to show that the majority of what you learn in school you don't actually need to use in real life or on the job.

Depends on your life or your job. I've used algebra, civics, history, and computer programming in real life and/or on the job. All of which I learnt in high school.

The music classes, not so much ... hmph.

The most useless course I was required to take at uni was the history of the English language. All I remember is that ofermode means exactly the same thing as 'hubris'. And I only remember it because we spent three days on that one fucking word.
