Absence.

I've lived alone most of my life, and I really like it that way. Anyone I decide to be with would have to be happy with us having our own lives. My Nan was with her boyfriend for 20-odd years before she died and they never lived together. Perfect.

Reasonably intelligent - they don't have to be a rocket scientist, but I'd like to be able to have a decent conversation.
Good sense of humour.
The ability to put up with my mood swings.
Good hygiene.


Really though, I don't see myself in a relationship at all, I'm pretty over it.
