I was reading the encyclopedia of alien beings, or should I say "almanac," by MUFON. My biggest disappointment is that they don't even bother saying where they got their information about any given alien species that they claim lives or just visits our little planet, let alone the evidence for it. The author brushes off the evidence for their claims already in the introduction, saying that "skeptics will not believe no matter what the evidence is," and then he goes on to describe numerous alien species, some of which have elaborate civilizations underground. And we are not being visited just by hundreds of species of aliens, but also by the same aliens but from the far future—if you can wrap your mind around that.
There are surprisingly a lot of alien species that look exactly like humans "but taller."
A lot of these alien species have such advanced modes of technology that they travel just by teleporting their minds that one wonders why they even have spaceships.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
