Actually, "Brave Turks" threw their lot in with german forces because they had perfectly matched ideologies, and saw an opportunity to realize their dream of ethnic national sovereignty. An ideology which you proudly claim.........
They fought mostly as guerrillas, because the government wanted to maintain official nuetrality, and to this day never released wartime records....the germans had no choice (which is the only reason we even know about this). In fact, many "Brave Turks" were a bit steamed at their government for being so inactive, what with the wonderful plan the germans had going, and how successful it seemed.

Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
