You have said that there is no fire in hell, only dark emptiness and misery, and that the torture comes from regret. What if I choose not to regret, or lead a good life which I regret very little of?
If I can't choose not to regret, then I don't have free will.
You set yourself up to fail, GC, and I'm laughing my ass off. You've backed yourself into an indefensible corner, where to defend one point, you would have to surrender another. Face it. You've lost.
First of all I said IMO there was no fire in hell, thus darkness and misery. Your torment will be self inflicted through regret, hatred and anger, please read what I write. If you wind up in hell you will not have freewill, none, other than to make yourself miserable. You will definitely have regret, you will have no choice in the matter, I could explain why but, I feel it would be wasting my time. No corner here, have surrendered nothing.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
