I hate people that think this law is no big deal b/c you can formally "opt out" of prayer. But can you imagine being the only 8 yr old not praying and how cruel kids would be. Ya kids will be mean if they can but not only are they interrupting the school day for what I would argue is an exclusionary practice but it also creates and environment unhealthy for the kids b/c there is now "saved" kids and "unsaved" kids. This should definitly be kept out of public schools. If they want to pray nothing is stopping them from going to a private Catholic school where they can pray all they want. They just want this law so all children are exposed to prayer and brainwashing
