In addition to the jobs created by being able to pay half and get twice the workers, another hypothetical source of new jobs is in place where its not cost efficient to employ people at Australia's min wage of $15/h to do jobs that bring in $14.50/h. Drop the minimum wage to $10 or abolish it and suddenly there is a job opening.
