What you forgot (again) is that other people might have other opinions on exactly what constitutes better living and progression. I don't want a stream of explanation back telling me what YOU think it is - I don't give a shit at this point, though I might have at an earlier one. You just seem to have a problem realizing that whatever YOU find reasonable and logical might not be what OTHER people find reasonable and logical, nor do you have the politeness or respect to find out.

I find it difficult to give a fuck about peoples opinions who devolve the species in general religious or not, almost like a bastardized version of social darwinism/evolution. I dont think human life is sacred and I sure as hell dont have faith in anything, the strong and smart survive to pass their genes. And again, no its not just for me or just my opinion.

To get real for a minute, you can technically be a cyborg today. We had a cyborg in office, Dick Cheney had a pacemaker, our vice president didnt have a pulse when he was in office.

I'm bored now - the more you talk about it, the less it sounds like interesting technology and the more you sound like it's becoming a practically religious conviction.

So sorry you feel like that lassie but a little news flash, people can be emotional about topics without it havnt religious undertones. I didnt grow up in a dogmatic house, my mom was basically a deist. Yes, I'm a little bit more harsh then most about wanting evolution to happen faster and progress faster because I dont want to die anytime soon and I dont want anyone else to die young either. I in fact want to live a long time before I go, and if that makes me religious to hound on people about this topic then fuck it, where do I sign up to join the religion of technology and science?

Sad becuase a guy on a skeptic e-mail list I belong to began discussing the same topic with me but he made it much more interesting. Mostly because he sat down and explained it and then let it lie - he didn't try to shove it down my throat.
