Christians doing these "faith interventions" was all the rage back in the 80's. I have heard tales of homosexual kids being raped "for their own good" to change them back to heterosexual. Me and my friend were driving around looking for a job, and used our dungeon and dragons books to bear down on the fill out applications. A cop forced us out of the car and frisked us and all that other shit just because we had D&D books. The cop was going to confiscate the books, until we told him that if he confiscated them, we would sue him. The cop said the books were satanic.
The 80's was pretty fucked.
