Well, I'm not saying that you should marry your cousin. But by looking at the Ottoman sultans, who exclusively only had children from foreign slave girls, the Sultans didn't seem to get any smarter, nor stronger.

But thats only coz they had everything a young man could want, lots of foreign slave girls.

Why wage wars of conquest or mdernise the society...or anything really when you have castles of slave girls to do your every bidding.

Well, at least they did not have shortages of heirs, but seriously, the lack of serious leadership lead to their ruin, and to the ruin of us.
But maybe, that was meant to be, and we finally carved ourselves a state for us, from a vile multiethnic state, like the other ethnicities did.
It'd be a shame if all the other ethnicities had their own nation states and we did not.
That is what our Bashbugh Atatürk tried to archieve. A state, not for some dynastic guy, but for the spine of the state, that has brought forth the state in the first place.
