I beg your pardon?
What exactly do you think a fucking light year is?!?!?!?!
The distance light travels in ONE YEAR.
So if the Andromeda galaxy is 2.26 million lightyears away then by definition that is how long the light takes to reach us.
Do I have to teach you the basics of astronomy as well?
Assuming a few things.
Like what exactly?
Quote: And the previous hypothesis would explain the distance without compromising the time. And how precisely does it do that? In your own words please.
As I've said before, it allows those billions of years of processes to happen in hours or days as they are on earth. Allow all that light to travel billions of light years in little time relative to earth.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
