Movies are fantasy, perhaps. But they air abroads, meaning, they do represent your country in some way. Just like your video clips, songs, and etc.
They say in Turkey that American parents supposedly allow their daughters to sleep with others as soon as they reach the age of 14.
And they don't really care, and even get their daughters birth control pills and etc.
Don't know how much of it is true, but that's the impression that the people over here get from various American movies. No offense, I don't try to insult your daughters or something. Just bringing forward a rumor that circulates in our general area(Balkans&middle east&Caucaus etc.).
