They aren't True Christians. You can't be a Christian and accept evolution any more than you can pick and choose which parts of God's Word is really God's Word.
Genesis tells us about geographical locations like rivers.
Quote:Gen 2:10-14 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
You don't describe rivers and other specific geographic locations over something that is just metaphor. Neither do you trace ancestory back to a fictional character.
Quote:Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
Paul who helped found the early Christian Church testified that Adam was a literal person.
Quote:1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Moses also was told that the six days were literal six days.
Quote:Ex 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
