I am personally against it. I live in MA, a state without the Death Penalty. My reasons in a nutshell come down to my moral belief that it is ineffective as a deterrent, more costly than life, and most importantly in my mind mistakes are made and innocent people die.
I have more to say, but I want people to respond first.
I am for it 100%. I am actually for getting it done and over with quickly as to save tax payers dollars. I understand there is a very small percentage of people who are convicted of a murder that would require the death penalty. We have very accurate ways of scientifically proving someone did a certain crime. Child molesters, rapists, serial killers, and pre meditated murderers should all be put to death. As a matter of fact I think they should let a close family member of the victim be the one to flip the switch. If someone did any of those things to my child I can tell you I'd do everything possible to kill them before the state had a chance to. Even if it meant being put to death myself.

According to my husband not very hard. He was in Iraq and said that before you know it you'll be looking for reasons to kill someone. I also had my father tell me the same thing and he was a Korean war vet.
I don't think it would be very hard to kill someone if your life was in danger or they severely harmed someone who you loved.
