The past few hundred years- "God please make me a better father and help me provide for my family"
The past decade- "Fuck, I need to figure out how to be a better father and how the hell I'm supposed to provide for my family. These sons of bitches have been groveling to a fairy for decades instead of actually working to solve problems and now we're in a shitload of trouble...and the bastards are blaming me for it."
